I enjoy leading Zing forward through innovation and developing its people. The strength of this business is it’s happy and motivated workforce. This has been a driver behind the doubling of the company’s size in recent years.
I strongly value honesty and endeavour to be transparent in all aspects of my personal and professional life. In my work I am approachable and enjoy working in teams, and I try to foster a happy and positive environment. I like to make a difference, am loyal and get satisfaction from delivering a good service.
Started as a Cleaner back in 1996, worked hard and took every opportunity offered to me by the company. I have held roles in Customer Service, Account Manager and Head of Service before I was appointed Managing Director in 2016. This invaluable early experiences now helps me in the day to day running of Zing Environments Ltd.
The accomplishments I am most proud of include taking over the management of the Sales Team in 2016 and doubling the company’s Revenue in a three year period from £3.8m in 2016 to £6.9m in 2019. A recent accomplishment has been working hard to support and retain the whole workforce through the coronavirus pandemic.
Although my job is very demanding I really enjoy cooking and baking at home, and of course fitness training to burn off those calories! Running half marathons to raise money for cancer research.
